The number of readers:     1996 -- 6,815 readers;     1997 -- 7,626 readers; The number of visitors:     1996 -- 596,158 visitors;     1997 -- 386,037 visitors; The found of the library:     Books -- 3,933,383;     Magazines and serial publications -- 2,072,002;     Newspapers -- 7,531,475;     Other publications -- 1,596,568; The systems of cataloging:  Alphabetical, Systematical, Subjective,  Topographical, Chronographical, Geographical.
