From April of the current year working group of three men, I, Ia Gorgisheli and Archil Takniashvili, worked with the own project - GeREs (Georgian Resources on the Internet). GeREs participated in the Second Web Contest for the Best Georgian Internet Page in category Informational resources and services and has occupied the first place.

15 October, 1999 - 15 March, 2000
Worked with the project Electronic catalogues of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on the Internet. It is the electronic catalogues of the Georgian books and Dissertation synopses entered to National Parliamentary Library of Georgia in period 1992-1999.

3-5 October, 1999
Participated in a workshop "Transcaucasian Workshop - Universal Bibliographic Control and UNIMARC". Sponsors of the workshop: Open Society Foundation, IFLA, NCLIS, Georgian Academy of Sciences. The workshop carried out Library Automation Association in Georgia (LAAG) and Association of Information Specialists (AIS).

10-11 September, 1999
Participated in a conference "the Bibliographic Standards", on which there were representatives from different libraries of the Transcaucasian republics, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The conference was held in Library of Academies of sciences of Georgia.
